Feast or Famine

Freelancing is often feast or famine. The slow months are very slow and the fast ones go very fast. 

This past month has been a fast one, with old clients getting in touch, and new ones appearing. It’s nice to be busy, even though, with the High Holidays fast approaching, busy becomes even busier. 

I can’t talk much about the new projects, but they’re in fields I’ve never really worked in before, and that’s pretty cool. I’m learning a lot of random information that I will keep tucked in my brain and hope that one day a piece of the trivia I have picked up will be the answer to one of Haaretz’s Twenty Questions quiz. 

On another note entirely: as the Jewish New Year approaches, I want to wish all those who celebrate, and all those who don’t, a happy, healthy, and most importantly, a peaceful new year.
